Monthly Reset: November 2026

Word of the Month: Abundance

Fall is in full swing and no one can tell me it’s too early for my decorations. That alone is making me feel so grateful! Did I start putting pumpkins out on August 28th? Yes, but now it’s acceptable and I’ll only be judged for putting Christmas decor up before Thanksgiving—don’t put it past me. This time of year is such a gorgeous time of transition with leaves changing and a crispness in the air. The holidays are just around the corner and I’m looking forward to spending time with loved ones, enjoying delicious meals and getting outdoors for workouts without sweating my life away.

November monthly reset routine is here and I’m talking about goal setting for a new month, prepping for fall, my monthly favorites and how I’m celebrating the changing season along with a new challenge for myself! It’s time to reflect, recenter and reset for the month of November.

In case you haven’t seen resets from previous months, this is a guide to doing a monthly reset so that you can reevaluate your goals, see what you did well over the past 30 days and what you might need to work on over the next four weeks. Incorporating this into my life has helped me stop and smell the roses, get honest with myself about what I really want and realize what goals are attainable so I set myself up for success.

Here’s the breakdown and guide I follow each month for you so that you can start doing it as well and be prepared for every month and take control of the precious time you have. Let’s get to it!

November Monthly Reset

As a true fall girlie, November is one of my favorite months of the year. The days get cooler. Cozy food becomes an absolute must. Binging Gilmore Girls for the 15th time is no longer something people judge you for. Your home comes to life with decor and ready to welcomes guests. An early Winter arc mentality feels like you can succeed at anything to come! Does it show that I love this time of year??

I chose “abundance” for this month’s focus word because I want to welcome luck, prosperity and wealth into my life. I’m still working my way through the Financial Feminist but the first thing we learn to change is the mentality we create regarding money and success. Removing the fear and shame surrounding money and abundance allows us to actually create it for ourselves with confidence. It has made me change my mindset about more than just money and turned everything into a game I’m determined to win. How much can I save? How many walks in a beautiful neighborhood can I take? How many delicious meals can I finally stop saving for later and make? I’m chasing down everything I want and actually achieving it because I allowed myself to have it. I’m determined to keep with this momentum and welcome abundance into every aspect of my life!

Now that I have a clear idea of this month’s theme, let’s take a look at last month and start planing for November!

October was actually a very productive month and truly made me proud of myself! Maybe that’s why I chose abundance as my word of the month for November. Once you know you’re capable of something and see results, you can’t help but want more. Miah Henry’s 3/2/10k Challenge has become my fitness obsession and helped me lose 10 pounds in a month while building muscle in all the right places. For those of you who watched the VS Fashion Show and thought “I wish I could look like Candice Swanepoel”: this is the workout routine for you. Three days of strength training, 2 days of pilates and 10K steps a day while prioritizing eating whole foods and never feeling hungry—chef’s kiss!

I had moved my new books Lifespan: Why We Age—and Why We Don’t Have To and Road Trip to October and I’m so in love with both! Feeling a little stressed with every year that goes by just because you think you’re “getting old”? Yeah, you need to read Lifespan. I learned so much about my mind and body and feel excited to grow into myself even more. Road Trip was everything I hoped it would be and more. I miss Ireland so deeply and this book truly hit the spot to satisfy my wanderlust and tug on the heartstrings. I had to force myself to put it down a few nights just so I didn’t obliterate my sleep schedule.

I didn’t get as many posts written as I wanted but I did focus on some new outlets and worked to create new partnerships. I could be hard on myself for it or I could remember that I’m just one person and (unless I go the AI route—no thanks) I can only achieve so much within a certain amount of time. A little grace for yourself goes a long way. Thanks to me not being hard on myself, I feel more confident about creating more this month and like I’m looking forward to the weeks to come.

Journal Prompts

What did I accomplish this month?

I earned an Oura movement crown every single day thanks to my 10k step goal and evening walks with the pups. My finances are giving me such a feeling of support and pride knowing I made it happen all on my own. My home is the most welcoming space with the perfect fall scents and cozy corners begging to be snuggled into. I found another income source that I’m excited to include into my BetterTogether world.

How was I feeling this month? Why?

Excited & proud! Driving around town and seeing halloween decor and pumpkins everywhere almost makes Nashville traffic bearable. Honestly though, it puts a smile on my face to see creativity and spooky creations around every corner. Committing to my fitness goals and seeing results has also given me so much pride!

What events happened this month?

Multiple fall events: Franklin Pumpkinfest, taking my doodles to Cheekwood’s Pooch Party and a fantastic Halloween party with some of my closest friends.

List some things you learned this month.

Setting boundaries doesn’t make you high maintenance, it makes you high quality

Working towards a goal little by little is far better than waiting for the “perfect time”…which never comes

Write more blog posts and keep up with my fitness and financial goals.

Cicy Bell Off the shoulder sweater for fall

At the risk of sounding cliché…it’s sweater weather! Ugh, sweater weather!!! I just got this off-the-shoulder one and I’m already planning how many places I can wear it before people wonder if I even own another one. Knowing me, I’ll probably get 3 more new ones but I can’t help it. When I see a sweater on sale I just have to add her to my collection of coziness!

Oversharing cookbook for hosting season

Anyone in Nashville who has hosted a party and tried to achieve the perfect charcuterie board or effortlessly put together a dinner everyone will love knows that the cheesegal is who you turn to!
