It’s September and I’m so ready to enjoy virgo season and all that comes with it. I absolutely love this time of year! The weather is beginning to change, my birthday is this month, there’s fall everything popping up all over town and I’m treating myself to everything I can. I usually have to stop and keep myself in check so that I can stay present but once the ‘ber months start, I’m savoring every single day. Here’s what I’m loving this month to get into the season and treat myself a little more.

I’ve been adding new pieces to my wardrobe lately and looking for items that make me feel more confident. I still love my athleisure for running errands but I feel like I haven’t updated my wardrobe with cute tops, skirts and dresses to go out for drinks, brunch and events in a while. My style is also changing as I’m getting older and I’m feeling more confident with my body so cute new tops are certainly a gift to myself. I can’t wait to wear this to an event later this month!

I used to be skeptical of the red light therapy benefits but now I’m fully on board! I’ve had Solawave’s 4-in-1 Red Light Therapy Wand for about a year now and I absolutely love the results, but my neck needs a little love, as well. Take my advice and start caring for your neck…like yesterday.

This is one of my biggest splurges for the month but I’ve been eyeing this mask for a while and finally letting myself have it as a birthday gift. I’ll keep y’all updated on how well it’s working but if it’s anywhere near as good as the wand, I’m in good hands.

Lately, I’ve been noticing more hair loss when showering and brushing. This is usually a sign that your scalp needs some love and it’s one I will not be ignoring. I’ll be adding this oil to my Sunday Reset Routine evenings to strengthen and nourish my hair and scalp.

With key ingredients like Ashwagandha, Dashmool and Castor Oil, this hair oil has been garnering more and more attention. I’ve used it once so far and honestly noticed more shine after my first wash and a wonderful yet subtle scent of jasmine leftover for about 3 days. We’ll see how well it works for strengthening too, but thousands of reviews and survey participants said they noticed positive results in 2 weeks so I’m looking forward to the next few uses.

I’m a huge puzzle fan—truly, such a nostalgic way for me to relax—and I found this pumpkin patch 1,000 piece puzzle to kick off pumpkin season. For all of you who tell me to calm down, it’s still hot out: no, thank you! In my eyes, it’s fall as soon as August 1st hits so waiting until September to really dive into the season is the best you’re gonna get from me. To all my fall girlies: it’s time to shine y’all!

One of my favorite podcasts is Money with Katie and she just put out a book this summer that I’m so excited to start reading and putting to good use. I’ve definitely had my years of frivolous spending and enjoyed them well but, as I’m getting older, I’m looking forward to making my money work for me and understanding it better—but I certainly wish I’d started earlier.

This time of year is my absolute favorite! Fall is starting, the holidays are right around the corner and it’s my birthday so I always have this urge to work on myself even more. Getting my steps in lately hasn’t been my top priority but I’m changing that ASAP.

This water bottle pouch just arrived and I’m sticking it onto my favorite water bottle so I’m reminded to get up, get some steps in and enjoy the outdoors. Little reminders around the house can help keep you active and committed to your goals.

Satin is definitely having a moment right now—but honestly, does it ever really go out of style? Just added this piece to my collection and will be wearing it for my birthday dinner to feel extra chic. Finding clothes that fit online can be so exhausting but this one has an elastic back making it friendly to more than just the “perfect hourglass body frame.”

This was definitely my biggest purchase of the month and I considered it a birthday present to myself but Starbucks did all of us dirty this year when they decided no one wanted the Apple Crisp Macchiato to return for fall (seriously, who the hell is making the decisions over there???) Thanks to them and their complete inability to read the room though, I’ll be saving my money—already putting Katie’s book to good use—and making my own specialty coffee drinks including an Apple Crisp Macchiato!

I think I’ve finally crafted the perfect recipe to recreate it so be sure to try it if you’re a fall girlie who needs apple, like myself.
