Monthly Reset: October 2025

Happy Fall Y’all! The seasonal months are in full swing and now I can enjoy everything pumpkin and fall…without the judgment because y’all know I started the celebrations like two months ago. There are so many events this month I’m looking forward to like Franklin’s Fall Festival, wandering through Cheekwood’s Pumpkin Harvest and taking my mom and my pup Maddi to Oktoberfest in Helen, GA.

I’m getting ahead of myself, though. Looking forward to how I’m spending my time always keeps me positive but taking a look at how I spent the previous month and assessing my goals is the best way to achieve new ones and keep growing.

October monthly reset routine is here and I’m talking about goal setting for a new month, resetting for fall, my monthly favorites and how I’m celebrating the changing season. It’s time to reflect, recenter and reset for the month of October.

In case you haven’t seen resets from previous months, this is a guide to doing a monthly reset so that you can reevaluate your goals, see what you did well over the past 30 days and what you might need to work on over the next four weeks. Incorporating this into my life has helped me stop and smell the roses, get honest with myself about what I really want and realize what goals are attainable so I set myself up for success.

Here’s the breakdown and guide I follow each month for you so that you can start doing it as well and be prepared for every month and take control of the precious time you have. Let’s get to it!

October Monthly Reset

Spooky season is always a fun time for me! I love decorating with pumpkins and leaves everywhere, making my space feel extra cozy, rebinging all my fall favorites, watching the leaves change, baking, crafting and hosting for friends as often as possible.

Last month, my main focus was to take it easy and treat myself, which felt absolutely amazing! Gifting myself that extra time and grace has me feeling excited and determined to succeed more without any pressure. I’ve noticed myself craving more workouts, naturally waking up earlier and planning more posts and podcast episodes without hitting a mental wall.

I’m giving those cravings a place to thrive and planning out how to achieve them and fit them into my days. Let’s take a look at last month and start planing for October!

September was meant to be a month that focused on relaxation, calm and not putting too much pressure on myself. Checking off every goal feels so amazing! There were definitely times that I almost let stress creep in but disrupting my peace was just not an option.

I’ve been feeling so amazing each day thanks to my pilates. I know every day sounds like a lot but I alternate between difficulty levels so that some days I’m focusing on my core, then upper body, lower body and every Sunday is dedicated to deep stretching and recentering. My morning and evening walks with Maddi around the neighborhood have become like second nature, along with walks 20 minutes after meals that have significantly improved my digestion. My Peloton has been going unloved for too long so I’ll be working it back into my routine for October.

Cleaning out my home to create a welcoming space has done wonders for my mental health. We’re all guilty of having that one pile of stuff or “the chair”. Removing everything that doesn’t serve a purpose, no longer fits or doesn’t give me confidence has allowed me to feel light and fresh. Every corner of my home gives me peace; my closet is no longer overwhelming; a weight has been lifted. I’m also a new member at Face Foundrié and looking forward to my monthly facials. I’m not a botox fan (maybe I’ll change my tune one day) so monthly facials and annual micro-channeling are my beauty and self-care choice. If you’re interested in trying out one of their treatments you can use my link to get $10 OFF!

Since I took a little break from my usual work schedule, I’m feeling more inspired to create new posts and get back into a rhythm of writing each day. Sometimes taking a little break—even from things you enjoy—helps you hit the reset button and return completely refreshed.

There were a few goals from August that I didn’t complete so I’m revisiting them now to see if I want to bring them back into October. I’ll be moving them to October and creating actionable steps each week that will help me achieve them. Checklists are your friend!

Journal Prompts

What did I accomplish this month?

I put myself out there more and it paid off so well! Tyler Bergantino has been hosting a Tall Tour around the country for tall people to meet up. Such a fantastic idea that I absolutely wasn’t going to miss. I’m the only tall one in my friend group so none of my friends felt comfortable joining, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from going. For some reason, going out alone feels so taboo and I’m challenging myself to start do it more often. Clearly, it was the right move because I met a whole new group of amazing women to call friends!

Showing myself extra care and love has also been such a wonderful accomplishment. I’ve had multiple people compliment me on how great my skin looks (thanks Face Foundrié!) and tell me that I have a great aura. I knew I felt better, but I didn’t realize how much that translated to others. Just goes to show that caring for yourself isn’t selfish and allows you to show up for others even better than before.

How was I feeling this month? Why?

Renewed.

Taking time to be kinder and not push myself too hard has felt marvelous.

What events happened this month?

Spent time with my closest girlfriends at Happy Hour wine nights. Enjoyed a full day of beauty treatments all to myself. Met over 20 amazing new ladies at Tyler Bergantino’s Tall Tour. Made time every day to go out for a walk with Maddi (sometimes even bringing my cat Ivy) and simply enjoying nature without any distractions. Devoured the most delicious gyro at the Greek Festival.

List some things you learned this month.

Your peace cannot be disrupted if you don’t allow it

Prioritizing yourself creates a safe space for you to love & respect yourself more

Growing older is a gift that should always be celebrated

What can I do better next month?

Channel my craving for growth and create new budgeting goals for the remainder of this year along with where I want to be by next September.

Highs and Lows

Lows: had to reevaluate a friendship

October Goals

All things Fall and growth mentality! I understand this is going to sound like a contradiction but slow living and growth are my biggest October goals. I’m focusing on my fitness in the morning, growing the blog and podcast during the day then enjoying my evenings with new recipes and quiet walks with Maddi, plus volunteering at a local farm on the weekends. I’ve been feeling an urge to go horseback riding, however it can get very expensive very fast. I found a local ranch just 20 minutes away that I can volunteer at—perfect way to give back and become part of the equestrian circle without spending a whole bunch of money.

This book has been raved about on Tik Tok and I’m dying to read it on my patio with the crisp autumn air putting me in the mood. A cute little town, romance, PSL’s and fall charm all inside an adorable café. What could be better for this time of year?

Fall fashion is one of my favorite styles and I can never have enough plaid skirts or boots! You’ll find me practically living in sweater paired with pieces like these all season.
