Monthly Reset: November 2025

Hey Y’all! I hope you’re enjoying the fall months as much as I am. I seriously wish I could just live in the ‘ber months forever! My birthday, fall season, Halloween, bonfires, sweater weather, Thanksgiving, Christmas. I truly can’t get enough of this time of year! I always feel like it goes by so quickly so I make it my mission in life to savor every single second. I still need to stick with my monthly reset routine or else I feel like I lose my rhythm so it’s time to dive into November’s Reset.

November monthly reset routine is here and I’m talking about goal setting for a new month, prepping for the holidays, my monthly favorites and how I’m celebrating the holiday season. It’s time to reflect, recenter and reset for the month of November.

In case you haven’t seen resets from previous months, this is a guide to doing a monthly reset so that you can reevaluate your goals, see what you did well over the past 30 days and what you might need to work on over the next four weeks. Incorporating this into my life has helped me stop and smell the roses, get honest with myself about what I really want and realize what goals are attainable so I set myself up for success.

Here’s the breakdown and guide I follow each month for you so that you can start doing it as well and be prepared for every month and take control of the precious time you have. Let’s get to it!

November Monthly Reset

The month of November is all about being thankful and practicing gratitude and that’s exactly how I intend to spend it. Being mindful and grateful for everything around me is my main goal for the month. Don’t get me wrong, I’m usually mindful about this all year long but I take things a bit slower at this time to simply focus and enjoy what I have: a home that makes me feel at peace, amazing friends & family, the sweetest fur babies I could ever ask for, opportunities to get out and enjoy my city, delicious food in my home. I could go on for hours if I just sat back and thought about everything but I’ve got the whole month to do exactly that so let’s take a look at last month and start planning for November!

Last Month’s Goals

Last month, my main focus was to embrace change with the fall season and keeping a growth mentality. Sticking to my schedule and achieving my work and fitness goals with more structure is where I needed to put more effort so that my evenings could be easier and filled with spooky movies, neighborhood walks and finding new hobbies. I wanted to get involved with the equestrian world (without spending a fortune) and now I volunteer at an organization in Franklin which allows me to spend my weekends outdoors with horses. I like setting 3-4 goals for 3 areas of my life plus making a finance goal so that I keep things compartmentalized and bite-sized. Let’s take a look at how I did.

October was a month to focus on being productive while also taking things slow. It’s a thin line to walk but honestly it didn’t feel as difficult as I thought it would be since I kept my goals in sight. I love putting my monthly goals into my favorite calendar app, Artful Agenda. Be sure to use my code: RK478154 when you sign up. It was created by a girl here in Nashville and it makes my life so organized and beautiful!

I finally feel like my pilates workout is a habit again. I used to be addicted to my club pilates classes and went 5 times a week but the price was more than I could stand to keep spending, especially when I could buy my own professional reformer for the price of an annual membership. I’m probably going to upgrade the reformer I have if I can find a Black Friday deal on one that’s worth it but for now I love having access to one that slides right under my bed and using Project Pilates for only $25 a month. I got back on my peloton after months of letting it sit sad and alone but didn’t hit my goal of doing it twice a week. They’ve added a personalized plan since the last time I was on the app so I'm looking forward to trying that out this month.

Reading was something I always loved as a kid but, you know how it goes when life gets in the way of what we want to do. I’ve been making it a monthly goal to read at least 2 books—one fiction and one non-fiction. This month I read The Body Keeps The Score to learn about healing. I loved it more than I expected to since I don’t like to admit to myself I’ve suffered any trauma. The word has been so overused nowadays that I swear I've met people that say their trauma is needing to buy everything they see because their parents told them no when they were four years old. It’s definitely worth the read to assess how you’re feeling or to learn some compassion for how others may be feeling.

Taking time to tick off a bucket list item of mine was amazing. I’ve had Helen, GA on my list of places to visit for about two years now but going during Oktoberfest was amazing! I spent 24 hours in Helen, GA with my mom and my dog Maddi to really indulge in the fall season and I can’t stop looking at all the photos and videos from our trip. I already want to go back, especially if I can make it down there during their Christmas Market time. Enjoying fall themed events in Nashville and spending time at a horse ranch nearby were big lifestyle goals I loved achieving.

Since I took a little break from my usual work schedule, I’m feeling more inspired to create new posts and get back into a rhythm of writing each day. Sometimes taking a little break—even from things you enjoy—helps you hit the reset button and return completely refreshed.

What did I accomplish this month?

I hit almost every goal I set for myself and I feel so proud, plus I got to enjoy them in the process. Narrowing down your goals can keep you from trying to do more than you’re peacefully able to within a 30 day period. Small, attainable goals that can deliver big impacts to your life are often overlooked because we think we’re supposed to stay busy to be successful. I refuse to partake in the idea and this month I clearly proved it’s possible to succeed without crushing yourself.

How was I feeling this month? Why?

Excited.

Fall is such a beautiful time of the year and I love seeing everyone’s decorations. Pumpkins everywhere, leaves falling, fun events all over town—who wouldn’t feel excitement all month long?

What events happened this month?

I did so much this month! I went out with a few of the girls from the Tall Tour for drinks before a singles meet up event with them. A week later, ten of us got together to celebrate one of their birthdays at a new place in town called Twenty First (seriously, the most amazing night out)! Two days later I went to Georgia for Oktoberfest. The following weekend I went with my new friend Chrissy down to Franklin for their Fall Festival and a dinner at my favorite Irish Pub. Finally, I had to channel my inner child with two of my best friends on Halloween and drive around seeing all the holiday decorations with a Halloween playlist to set the mood. There were trick-or-treaters everywhere and so many neighborhoods went all out for spooky season. The sense of nostalgia we all had was the best way to end the month!

List some things you learned this month.

You’re never too old to make new friends

Letting your inner child free makes you a better adult

Taking things slower allows you to move forward faster and farther than when you’re “hustling”

What can I do better next month?

Spend the month with gratitude in mind at all times. I will write down 3 things I'm grateful for every morning and another 3 positive things that happened each day before going to sleep each night.

Highs and Lows

Highs: the whole month felt like a high! Fall events, ladies nights out, celebrating a new friend’s birthday, fall events around town, Oktoberfest in Georgia, Halloween night.

Lows: if I had a low, it didn’t stick out enough for me to even remember. Every day felt amazing!

November Goals

NOVEMBER GOALS: Practicing gratitude and enjoying the holiday season to the fullest. Now that I feel like goals from earlier in the year are turning into habits, I can focus on enjoying the end of the year. This doesn’t mean slacking off. It simply means that I can feel energized each day and get my work goals taken care of so that each night I’m feeling free and grateful. I can take walks with Maddi and stop to enjoy the leaves changing, cook more delicious fall meals, spend time with my friends and not stress about how I could be more productive.

You may have seen this on Tik Tok but if not, run to Amazon and grab it! It has been a game changer for my skin! I always put it on after my nighttime skincare routine. I think many use it instead of their moisturizer but I put it on over it to really seal in my products while also delivering a boost of collagen overnight.

When I tell you I wake up with glass skin, I’m talking like Zamboni machine fresh and perfect. It’s under $20, has a 100% Yuka score and never disappoints! Plus I love that it dries in 15 minutes and stays in place all night long so I never get any products on my pillow case.

Fall is truly my time to shine in the fashion department. I could live in sweaters and boots but I also like to feel a little more chic when going out for events and dinner with the girls. I just got this sweater dress with a matching shrug and can’t wait to wear it out this holiday season. Cozy doesn’t have to mean boring.

Save this checklist so you can use it every month!
