Alright y’all, I know it’s hot out there and we’re all feeling it, but we still have goals and want to enjoy every day. I’m counting down the days to fall but I’m also staying present and loving where I’m at right now. Here’s some of the best things I’m loving right now to enjoy 4th of July, stay cool while enjoying the outdoors and soaking up the sun!
A good romper is a must for your hot girl walks! I’m so in love with this one. It’s thick enough to keep me comfortable but not sticky. The rib-knit texture adds enough of a detail to feel cute plus the square neck is flattering for all body types. I’m not a huge fan of super short shorts or those rompers that are so tight you look like you’ve got camel toe, making this one the perfect choice!
It’s been so crazy hot this year but I do not want to give up my step goal or avoid the gorgeous outdoors just because it feels like a sauna. I don’t leave the house without this spray bottle. You can fill it up with water or something a little extra if you like. I’ve been filling it with Mario Badescu’s Rose Water & Aloe Facial Spray since it keeps my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. It’s an instant cool down must-have!
If your hair gets a big frizzy during the humid summer months you can also fill this with amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Leave-In Conditioner. It drenches your hair with 3x more hydration and can be used on dry hair to tame those annoying flyaways on the go.
I’m obsessed with L’Occitane’s products but their Almond Body Oil is a must-have! I usually use their original body oil after each shower but for the summer season I’ve been using the Shimmering Body Oil. I love having that extra glow without looking like I just came out of a gentleman’s lounge and the scent is pure heaven!
Staying cool on a hike, hot girl walk or outdoor workout is easy with these cooling towels! I have no idea how they work so well — I’m honestly convinced it’s magic. You can wet them and they instantly feel like a little ice bath around your neck. Pure heaven in these long summer days.
I’ve been losing my faith in big Pharma for quite a few years now, but felt a bit lost on what I should get behind instead. This book was amazing!! I learned so much about my body and how to support it better.
There are delicious recipes at the end of the book, as well. I’ve tried a few of them but will definitely be going through as many of them as possible this month.
Instantly hydrate and brighten your under eye (or even use as a highlighter on your cheeks) with this amazing rose glow balm. It’s perfect for on the go and fits right in your palm. I always get compliments when using this and it lasts forever! I just bought my second one for the first time in like a year and a half. You can apply concealer over it if you’d like and it will enhance your makeup application while also caring for your skin with hyaluronic acid & aloe water.
A chic boho tank never lets you down! I love that the material is thin in the right way — not the fall apart chinsy way. You can throw this on over your bikini, wear it to lunch with a lace bralette or whatever makes you feel best. It’s also machine washable which I’m very grateful for! More often than not, when you get a piece of clothing like this you buy it without even checking the label then find out….ugh hand wash only. Not this time! Stay cool, casual and cute without having to get your hands dirty. I do suggest throwing it into a mesh laundry bag though just so nothing snags it.
Finding the perfect beach towel can be tough. I’ve acquired so may over the years but so often they fall apart, have those little pillings that feel annoying or get covered in sand that seems to cling to the fabric for dear life. This one is stylish and repels sand as soon as you shake it off, plus gives you a quick dry without feeling damp and gross right away.
