I absolutely love Savannah and its old world charm. Wandering the streets of Historic Downtown District is one of the most gorgeous strolls you could ever take. Savannah is a very casual town but it’s also the perfect place to dress up a bit and feel like a true Southern Belle
Day 1 & 3: Walking Days Wandering Savannah’s Historic District
Savannah is a very casual and cool town, especially in the Historic District where there’s endless oak trees offering shade and comfort for a day full of walking, but it’s still the south. Something flowy and breathable will be a gift that keeps on giving.
This adorable camisole screams southern charm without feeling too heavy. You can easily go from walking the streets all day to grabbing dinner on the riverfront or even stopping into a rooftop bar for sunset drinks.
If you’re not a fan of flowy tops this bustier is the perfect choice to look put together and trendy. The stretch fabric makes it comfortable while the lace detailing gives it a delicate touch with a design that emphasizes your natural silhouette.
I’m a big athleisure girl and a good pair of leggings with pockets are the perfect item to pack for a day of wandering. They look cute with everything and are perfect for getting your steps in!
If you’re more of a jeans lover you can never go wrong with a good pair of Levi’s! They’re comfortable, pair well with any top, and offer a slimming cut with the high-rise design that gives you legs for days.
I always suggest having a light color like these along with a darker indigo wash. A good pair of jeans is something every woman should have on hand.
It goes without saying but I’ll say it anyways — you need great walking shoes for a walking day. These are lightweight and comfortable with memory foam cushioning so you can wander all day long with amazing arch support. It’s never fun to come back to your room feeling achy all over. Supportive walking shoes like these are a must-pack item!
Day 2: Wormsloe Historic State Park & Dinner at Olde Pink House
I was very nervous this would be a little too heavy since this dress was described as a sweater dress but I really wouldn’t call it that. It’s got the perfect amount of stretch, lightweight and breezy feel with a deep V-neck cut too feel classy and sexy.
Wormsloe is definitely a gorgeous setting for photos so I wanted to wear something that I’d feel confident in without sacrificing the comfort.
The transportation options at Wormsloe are wonderful so you won’t have to do an exceptional amount of walking. The tram brings you from the entrance to the perfect photo-op location at the end of the site’s famous driveway so you can wear cute sandals without getting irritating blisters.
I have these slides in 3 different colors and love wearing them for running quick errands but they’re also great for casual trips.
I’m so glad I brought this sunhat along! It’s adds the cutest touch with the black ribbon and protects you from the suns harsh rays with the high UV UPF 50. It’s easily folded and rolled up without creasing so you can pack it away and keep the perfect shape when you’re ready to wear it.
I love a good crossbody for traveling and this Michael Kors bag is a classic. It adds a sense of luxury, goes well with any outfit and holds all the essentials — cellphone, keys, debit cards, facial spray, lip balm. What else could you need?
I always love a theme! Dinner at Olde Pink House just calls for the perfect pink dress. The restaurant is a bit more upscale but not to the point where you have to dress like a debutante. I did see many people dressed a bit more casual but when going somewhere nice I enjoy dressing up.
This was such a comfortable dress and I felt very classy!
Clear sandals are very trendy lately and go with everything! I love a good square toe design, especially since they tend to be more comfortable. The chunky heel also adds comfort and with the amount of cobblestones Savannah squares are made of, you’ll be grateful you chose a heel that doesn’t get stuck between them so easily.
Feeling more formal? A satin dress is always the right choice and the keyhole mock neck design highlights your shoulders beautifully. The Empire waist improves your waist line and makes your legs look even longer and more slender. This dress is perfect for weddings as well so you can wear it time and time again.
Add a touch of elegance with these comfy heels. The bow detail and open square toe design offer style and comfort making you feel sexy and confident.
Want to wear something cute and casual but fitting for a nice restaurant? A ruffled mermaid dress like this one is a great option! The floral print is perfect for Olde Pink House and the square neck gives a touch of sexy to highlight your décolletage.
Slip on some white chunky sandals for a little pop that will give you the perfect 3” boost in height that will go great with any dress.
